Again, it has been a very long time since we last blogged. We're just plugging away at the same old stuff though. I only have one more school to do evaluations at and them I'm done with the data collection for the rest of my life. School is out at the end of May and I'm not going back next year because I'm going to get my teaching degree. I will still do the mentoring program, but I can work from home.
Marcus is going to start tee-ball. If the computer works and will download my pictures then I should have some pretty amusing pictures of that in a month or so. He has been going to pre-school and is currently learning to write his name. It's slow going, but we have another year before he actually has to know how to write it. They're doing a secret painting project right now. He can't wear long sleeve shirts, (it's too warm anyway) because his teacher is afraid they'll get paint all over their shirts. Marcus loves pre-school, especially when Uncle Jared gets to drive him there in his big truck.
Madison is almost done with dancing and tumbling for the summer. One more week of practices and she'll have her year end show and her state tumbling meet. They are on the same weekend! My dad found a new horse for her and his name is Blue Boy. He's currently staying at Grandpa Young's house. I don't know what kind of horse he is exactly, but his mother is a real live wild desert horse. They roped her off the Nevada desert. He's four and has a white star on his head. We've been going over to Huntington as much as possible to get him used to us. We feed him apples and carrots and we brush him. Today Madison got on him, which made me nervous, but she handled him just fine. He hasn't been ridden since his previous owner had a stroke, and we were a little worried that he had become too spoiled. He reined great though and listened to her like a good little pony. I've decided that Madison is going to take some riding lessons this summer, and maybe we'll get the horse trained again.
