A few things about the last month of school.
Madison performed her "Disco Is Back" solo for the last time. She was sad.
Madison caught a little lizard. She kept him in a frog habitat for a few days and named him Zion. She took good care of him, but lizards are very delicate creatures. She decided that it would be best to set him free, into the wild, where he could better regulate his body temperature and hunt for ants.
Madison had the last piano recital of this school year. She played "Hero's Dance" and "Jumpin' Jazz Cat". She is getting very good and likes playing. She doesn't like practicing her flash cards though.
Then, we broke out the trusty Slip N' Slide and took her out for a spin. The kids really got into it. Marcus was all over the place and at one point thought he might try to ride his bike down it. We quickly put a stop to that, but leave it to a boy to make everything just a little more dangerous and deadly. We hope everyone enjoys their summer!

Congratulations on being done for the year! I'll be hoping you find the right job for you and your family. It's tough times.
