Starts with a Z ends with an ion. Starts with a P ends with a onderosa.

First of all I have to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to my sister's sister-in-law and her husband. (also known as my sister's husband's sister and her husband) They let us stay in their AMAZING mountain home for our little getaway last week. We traveled to Zion Ponderosa Mountain Resort via Hwy 89. Mark and I took my kids and we met up with E & D & their kids at Rock Candy Mountain Cafe. Don't search Hard Rock Candy Mountain 'cause you'll only get song lyrics. Anyway, we had a fun little picnic and then we drove through some of the prettiest parts of Utah I've ever seen. When we got to the mountain homes the first thing I noticed is that from the deck of the home, we get this amazing view. Crazy? You should have seen the inside of this home. I can't even call it a cabin.

The kids outside the front door of the home. Madison in her ZP tee shirt Marcus in his ZP hat. Miss M just lookin' sweet.

We put the kids in the day camp (same camp that was mentioned on Good Things Utah) and had some camp counselors take care of them for like 6 hours. It was heaven. There were so many activities for them to do and the counselors really tried to accomodate the kids and their interests. They had a zip line, petting zoo, pony rides, bungee tramp, swimming, and lots of other stuff. Madison also went on her own 1 hour horse ride with a guide and some random people. It was her heaven on earth.

Look at that form. Straight legs, chest up, good extension...8.75
We also drove through Zion National Park to get to St. George. We went to Annie at Tuacahn and I have to say that it was soooo good. One of the highlights was the littlest orphan, Molly, she was the cutest little thing. And Thayne Jespersen from So You Think You Can Dance season 4 was in it too, but he just did what he was supposed to do. I kind of thought they should give him a cool dancing solo, but he was just background. Nice to know that he doesn't have to be the star.

Waiting for the show to begin. It was a beautiful night for it too. And we saw some people from Price and a girl who Marcus thought was Calypso from Pirates of the Carribean.

Saturday night was the Rodeo that the head wrangler and his ranch hands put on. It was really cute with barrel races and what not. One of the funniest parts was when the head wrangler (red hat) and his right hand man had the "Dolly Parton Race". They had to put on DD bras, ride to the last barrel, fill up the bras with water balloons and ride back without popping or dropping the balloons. They just ended up throwing them at each other and the spectators but it was awesome. The best part was that the head wrangler was riding a mule named Elmer instead of a horse. Funny dude.

Sittin' on the fence post, chewin' on my bubble gum....

It looks like he's going to flip the bird, but he's not. My guess is that he's about to flash a peace sign. Maybe not though, he may have wanted to flip me off.
