Julia's dancers, Encore Dance Studio, competed in a competition over the weekend and they did so well! They took 1st in all but 2 categories so they have like 14 first places (it might be more). The girls were really excited! Congratulations Julia!
Madison also competed with a friend in the solo, duo, trio portion of the competition and they took 1st place in their category also! They danced their hearts out, but they also put in the practice time. We practiced in my room after school two days a week so they really deserved the win. That's a 2 time 1st place win for Madison!
Madison and Marcus at Ty's Table for a post-victory Chocolate Devastation. Whenever I see her all done up like this it makes me a little teary. She's just getting so grown up. And I might be a little biased, but she really is getting so pretty!
Also! A huge congratulations to my big sis'! She just had a baby! Little Soren Ray, (I'm calling him J Bez) came last week and we are so excited!!! Congratulations Rays!!!

And it's not just your "mom eyes", Madison is a very beautiful girl.
ditto to everything Emily said. All was what I was about to say. That picture of Madison and her partner... i thought, "HOLY COW SHE HAS GROWN UP AND BECOME A GORGEOUS *gasp* teenager!"

Way to go Encore...and to think, this was Julia's "hard year" with the new baby, the broken ankle and all that jazz.
